Breezes Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club

This all-inclusive was one of our first stops in Jamaica, at the time a resort known as Jamaica-Jamaica. The property, still part of the SuperClubs chain, has seen many renovations since that time and it still is one of the most popular resorts on the island for those looking for a diversity of sports activities. The latest renovation resulted in a reopening and relaunch in January 2007; today the rooms sport a fresh look. The resort has also added beachfront rooms with private balcony Jacuzzis (and not just on the first floor!)

Guests here enjoy use of a golf course and school right across the road as well as tennis, windsurfing, and more. Not part of the all-inclusive plan, there's also a spa on property.

Clientele: age 14 and over

Good Choice If:

you're a golfer; the course and golf school are all part of the all-inclusive package
you're looking plenty of watersports; the clientele at this resort is very active and watersports are very popular

Bad Choice If:

you are looking for a quiet getaway
you're looking for a clothing optional beach; this resort had one for many years but no longer does
